Tionna and Kyle’s wedding day was close to being perfect. Bartram’s Garden is a small paradise in the middle of beautiful Philadelphia. Whimsical backdrops are combined with rustic buildings, and the tent that was set up for the wedding reception are just wonderful for any wedding. The original weather forecast told us it was supposed to rain but the weather changed overnight and we were graced with the most beautiful sunny day! It was warm and every moment was pleasant. The closest family and friends were all gathered together to celebrate this awesome couple. Tionna wore the most perfect wedding gown from David’s Bridal and it had pockets! My kind of a wedding dress! The cut was simple and elegant. I loved her look as it was already but she went ahead and surprised me even more with her elegant details. She was a white lacy necklace that I have never seen before this wedding. It made her look simply stunning! Kyle didn’t look bad either :). Light gray groom’s suit paired up with white Converses just showed how stylish this couple is! But it’s not just the looks that are wonderful about them. Love, and respect and patience, and compromises are being shared. I am excited for their future together! Check out their wedding moments!
Getting Ready at Residence Inn by Marriott Airport
Both Tionna and Kyle got ready at Residence Inn by Marriott Airport in Philadelphia. Their bridal party and their closes families were there to help them and share those wonderful moments with them. As you will see some champagne was safely consumed, some pretty make up was applied and most importantly Tionna and Kyle were ready to get married! They chose to see each other for the first time during their wedding ceremony, so we didn’t have a first look. So scroll and see what a wonderful and emotional ceremony they had!
If you wonder was is happening in the photo below – a half naked bridesmaid and busy-looking grandma, well, I will tell you the story. Alicia’s dress ripped before she even got out of the hotel room. The final alterations made it just a little too tight and even though she looked amazing, the dress was just a tiny too tight. Well, nana came to the rescue and sewed everything up just on time! Another reason to LOVE grandmas!
And while Tionna was getting in her dress, her brother was just observing everything. I wish I could know what he was thinking about. He was the one who was walking Tionna down the isle so I am curious how he was feeling at those moments.
Tionna’s mom put the veil in and was crying! I can only imagine she felt about her baby girl getting married!
Kyle had a good time getting ready as well. Some ironing, some champagne drinking and some good time with his friends has happened.
Now as everyone was ready, we headed to Bartrams’ Garden to marry them!
Wedding Ceremony at the Bartram’s Gardens
Tionna’s brother walked her down the isle and Kyle was super happy to see her! Even though he is not super emotional, you could see his eyes getting bigger and the impressed look on his face by how gorgeous his bride was. They wrote their own wedding vows, and it was simply wonderful. Even as I mentioned that Kyle is not that emotional of a person, he teared up during his vow and made everyone cry! They have exchanged the rings, jumped the broom and now they were officially married!
During the processinal unexpectedly enough for me and for the very first time in my experience every bridal party member did something funny! That’s how cool they were!
Wedding Portraits at Bartram’s Gardens
Now it was time for the bridal party, family an bride and grooms photos. The light was gorgeous, the spirits were high and time was great! Groom’s side wore stylish gray suits, and Tionna’s bridesmaids wore mismatched gorgeous dresses – gray, navy blue and blush pink. Check out how beautiful they are!
And when it was time for Tionna and her brother’s photo, their mom just couldn’t hold the tears back! It was so beautiful!
Some pretty pictures were taken but not it was time to celebrate these two!!!!
Bartram’s Garden Wedding Reception
Tionna’s and Kyle were introduced as a husband and wife now and had a very beautiful first dance. Then Kyle danced with his mom and Tionna danced with her brother. Not only beautiful but also fun moments had happened. And once the official part was over we sneaked away for a few more portraits and check those out!!!! Bartram’s Garden is located perfectly that Philadelphia skyline is visible really well. We were able to get the photos with the skyline visible and it’s so pretty. Then Tionna and Kyle joined the party! Keep looking though because they had a sweet surprise coming for their guests 🙂
Just after the cake cutting, Mr Softie ice-cream truck has arrived and everyone (including me 🙂 were able to enjoy this cool treat! How fun is this!!!! And we were able to grab a few more fun wedding photos with ice-cream cones.

And as a final surprise of the evening, Tionna prepared Chinese lanterns for everyone. It was a beautiful and very meaningful moments!
