Ali and John live in NYC and love Cape May, NJ. Personally I wouldn’t care where to photograph their engagement session but I am so glad they choose Cape May because otherwise the last set of photos in this blog post would not have happened! And it’s definitely worth seeing those! We met at Ali’s grandma’s home. Lucy (their dog) greeted me with lots of jumps and some squealing of excitement :). After she settled in a little at home, me, Ali and John headed out for their engagement photos. I love the way Cape May looks but I guess I don’t photograph there enough and I was stunned by all the beauty there! I felt like every corner was photo-worthy. And when we got to Congress Hall, the photo opportunities were endless. I can talk about Cape May a lot but let me also mention Ali and John! These two are the biggest love-birds I have ever met! It was so wonderful to give them instructions and then see the best version of that. They were so loving to each other and up for anything including getting in the water at the end of the session. Here! The secret is out! Yes! They got into the water! It was so fun and literally very refreshing to have this kind of session during warm summer weather. They were kind enough and let me borrow a towel for myself so I don’t have to drive too wet home :). I will return it to them on their wedding day that will be here just within a few weeks! Yes, I will be going back to Cape May Beach Club for their wedding. I am so incredibly excited for what the day will hold. But for now enjoy their engagement photos and say your congrats on their soon upcoming wedding!
