Meet Danielle and Jon!!! This is was an especially exciting engagement session for me to photograph because Danielle is a fellow photographer in my local photography community! It’s always extra special when other photographers trust you with their own photos but slightly nerve-wrecking at the same time haha! I wanted to make sure to deliver on what she saw in my photos and what attracted her to me, and at the same time wanted to be sensitive to her vision and remarks of what was special to her in photography. Hopefully, she is happy with the results and if not, please compliment these photos a million times so she knows how beautifully her and Jon’s relationship is represented here haha!
Now unto the session itself! Wow, what I see more and more in my clients is that they are exceptionally good at withstanding crazy weather. It was cold today! Was it freezing? I am not sure! But Danielle was definitely cold! Jon? He was cool but he said himself – that was his favorite kind of weather! HA, so I didn’t have to worry about him (sorry Jon!). Well, for the purpose of the blog post and my politeness, let’s say that I was worried a little about Jon :). But seriously, both of them were so patient and brave about this cold morning!
We captured their engagement session around the Museum of Art in Philadelphia area. They have spent multiple times hanging out here and this location was pretty memorable for them. And yes, it is gorgeous and one of my favorites so I was REALLY excited when they told me about their choice. Jon looked super stylish and Danielle was simply angelic! Her white polka dot dress was definitely such a charming choice! I think people look amazing in white (look at all the brides wink-wink) and wearing white to an engagement session is so beautiful!
