Yuan and Pat met in China about 14 years ago when they went to the same university in Beijin. About 3 years ago they got married at the city hall in Michigan. And now they were finally getting married in church and officially celebrating their wedding with the closest of their family and friends in Philadelphia even though they live in Arizona now :)! This day was so wonderful to me for so many reasons. First of all Pat and Yuan are wonderful people and hanging out with them, all day long was so fun! Philadelphia is a BEAUTIFUL place to get married so being able to photograph their wedding photos there was so pleasant to me. One couple from their guests were actually my former clients (Gina and Mike’s wedding) and if you look close enough you will find Patrick in the photos (he is the officiant so not so difficult to spot). I love intimate weddings because I almost get to meet all the guests and it’s so meaningful to me. And we got to go to SO many cool places and I love cool places :D! Yuan and Pat got ready at Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill hotel – which has such stylish look of mixture of history and modern elements. They had their first look at the Merchant Exchange Building. And then we traveled to Philadelphia City Hall for some photos and who doesn’t love that set of photos!!! Some of their portraits and their family photos were done at Penn Museum which is so grand and beautiful and I felt was so fitting for their style. And then Old Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church was a destination for their wedding ceremony. It was truly the most charming and beautiful church I have ever seen! You should totally go visit it!!! And their organist is extremely talented person! And finally Zahav was the restaurant of their choice! The food, the atmosphere, the service were simply impeccable! The whole day was simply perfect! Cold but perfect! The beautiful attire and gorgeous places were wonderful for creating beautiful images, but everyone will remember how wonderfully they felt on that day and what a warm celebration of two wonderful people it was!
