What better things I have to do on a chilly November afternoon than hang out with lovely and super stylish couples?! Seriously, how good Rachael and Michael are looking together!!! I always admire stylish people and these two, were just that! Rachael’s boots actually made me reconsider my style choices haha! Just a few days ago I got myself a new set of boots for winter that are super cozy and warm for me to wear on a few winter weddings that I have coming up. But yes, the heels!!! So beautiful!!! But not only style was the thing that I admired about Rachael and Michael. Their bright brains, joyful personalities and readiness to be cold for pictures inspired me so much, haha! I appreciate the discomfort acceptance SO much!!! I know how unpleasant the extreme temperatures can be and when my couples sacrifice their comfort for a photo, I treasure it!
We met at the beautiful Curtis Arboretum for their engagement photos. That was the first time me visiting the park and I absolutely loved it. The property is not overwhelmingly large but has so much variety and so many pretty corners. I totally see myself going back there for more sessions and hopefully weddings too! I was told that Curtis Arboretum hosts weddings too, so if you are up for marrying there, let me know :D!
And a little funny story! Rachael and me met before. She was a bridesmaid at Emily and Bob’s wedding around 3.5 years ago. I never met Michael though, so during out consultation when they told me he is in school to become a rabbi, I was TOTALLY fascinated! I asked him so many questions that afterwards I thought that maybe it was too much of interest. But seriously, I am glad I didn’t weird them out with all my questions and they still hired me haha. SO excited for their Resorts Casino Hotel wedding! And you guys enjoy this beautiful set of photos from their engagement session!
